David Eaton of Crystal Lake admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield

David Eaton of Crystal Lake, a senior at Crystal Lake Central High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for the fall 2017 term.

At Crystal Lake Central High School, he is involved in Madrigals singers, choir, speech team and soccer.

“I chose UIS because it has a great computer science program and an inclusive school environment,” he said.

Eaton will major in computer science and has plans to pursue a career in cyber security upon graduation.

The University of Illinois Springfield is one of three campuses of the world-class University of Illinois.
