Claudia Rawalji of Chicago, a senior at Disney II Magnet High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for the fall 2018 term.
At Disney II Magnet, she is co-captain of the dance team, co-president of the National Honor Society, founder of an ASL Club and a senior intern at Kedvale.
She is an undecided major who plans to become an elementary school teacher following graduation from UIS.
“I’m choosing UIS because I think that this school will be an amazing start to the new beginning of my life as an adult,” she said.
