Fernanda Bravo of Dallas, Texas, a recent graduate of David W. Carter High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for Fall Semester 2019 classes. She plans to major in pre-nursing at UIS.
In high school, she was a member of the marching band, JROTC and the National Honor Society.
“I chose UIS because it is a way to see other cities and is the best for my career of choice,” she said.
Following college graduation, she would like to travel the world and provide aid to needy countries.
