Pijus Petkevicius of Vilnius, Lithuania admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield

Pijus Petkevicius of Vilnius, Lithuania, a recent graduate of Vilnius Senvages Gymnasium, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for the fall 2018 term.

At UIS, he will major in management and play on the UIS Prairie Stars men’s soccer team.

“I’m choosing UIS because it gives me an opportunity to do both of my favorite things in life: play soccer and learn about business,” he said.

Following graduation from UIS, he plans to play soccer professionally.
