Leigha Watkins of Quincy admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield

Leigha Watkins of Quincy, a senior at Quincy Senior High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for Fall Semester 2019 classes. She plans to major in psychology.

At Quincy High, she is a member of the choir.

“I am choosing UIS because it’s close to home and has great opportunities,” she said.
