Delvon Johnson of Montgomery admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield

Delvon Johnson of Montgomery, a senior at Oswego High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for Fall Semester 2019 classes. He plans to major in computer science at UIS.

“I feel UIS is the right place for me to accelerate my knowledge in the computer science field,” he said. “The learning experience and development of my education is key to my future, and UIS can help me with that.”

At Oswego High, he is involved in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Program.

Following graduation, he says he plans to start “a career that will benefit me the most long-term.”
