Sable Mann of Taylorville admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield

Sable Mann of Taylorville, a senior at Taylorville High School, has been admitted to the University of Illinois Springfield for the fall 2018 term.

At Taylorville High School, she performs with the madrigals group and was part of the spring musical. She also plays on the softball team and was a member of the student council for two years. She has also participated in SkillsUSA.

At UIS, she plans to major in pre-nursing and hopes to earn her bachelor’s degree in nursing and work for a doctor’s office.

“I love what UIS has to offer and the diversity,” she said.
